*acknowledge: recognize the importance or quality of. 一般的には「（事実と）認める」の意味ですが、ここでは「（それが重要だと）認識する」の意の方で、英会話では使われます。Jacobは、「（重要だから）みんなで絶対にお祝いしなきゃいけないね！」と答えてます。こういう受け答えは、日本の英語の授業では習わなかったので、実際に使えるように意識して覚えるとよいですね。

*team check-in: チームチェックイン→会議で緊張をほぐす目的で、冒頭で全員が一言ずつ話すアイスブレークの手法。

*intermittent: 不安定な internetの状況を説明するときに使えますね。
*sluggish: のろい、不活発な。slugはナメクジのことなので、ナメクジのようにノロノロしてるイメージです。slowではなくsluggishと言えるとカッコ良いですね！

*rewarding: providing satisfaction、やりがいのある。
満足度の高いことを提供してくれることに対して使う形容詞なので、 rewarding job/career/experienceなどの組み合わせが見られます。TOEICにも出そうですね。
